Most of our independent living villages are located close to the shops and the heart of the communities where they are based – keeping you well connected.

Some of our communities offer standalone townhouses and units, while others have an apartment complex layout. Floor plans, interior styling and garaging are unique to each community – but all give you the freedom of independent living without any tiresome maintenance or security concerns. Come and go as you please and invite the family to come and stay when they can too!

The village is within walking distance to our shops and all you need locally, with a bus stop just across the road. Our co-ordinator is always helpful, cheerful, understanding and sympathetic to all.

Our age limit for independent living options is 65.

We appreciate that your much-loved pet is a genuine part of your family and while we will consider your friend joining you, we need to take into consideration your fellow residents and in some circumstances we may request that you re-home your friend.

Our independent living options offer a variety of parking options from personal garages to unallocated on-site parking.

While you are living independently, our communities do have expectations to ensure that all residents can enjoy both their personal space and communal areas. Please contact the Manager of the village of your choice to discuss this further.

You can arrange for independent carers to come on site to assist you. Out of courtesy, the Village Manager should be notified who your carer is and be comfortable with them being among our residents

We love family as much as you do at NZ Aged Care Services. We welcome family to come and visit you for short periods of time as they may do in your existing home.
